Approach to the sociolinguistics art state in higher education public institutions in Colombia

This article is an advance of the project related to the process through which Sociolinguistic went on the Public Institutions of High Education in Colombia. On the one hand, historical records of the discipline are shown fundamental for the investigation; on the second hand, it is shown the relevance of a state of art study made in the linguistic field, and finally some discoveries are shown product of the first phase (bibliographical compilation).
