Abstract

The Gabor transformed is a filter technique in two dimensions to use in the image processing, because it allows to stand out the edges of the object, even though with illumination changes. The initial part of the filter technique by means of Gabor transformed is its coefficients obtaining, using the mother Wavelet. The Fourier Transformed is applied to coefficients and image and it is obtained complex coefficients as output. The final image is obtained starting from the magnitude, result of the Fourier inverted transformed, achieved from the circular convolution between the image's coefficients and filter. This writing is based in article (Weldon P. (1993))
