Legal clinic of public interest of Unisangil: origin and direction

It is known that the Legal Clinics form a new methodology of teaching and learning, tending to provide legal services that allow access to justice, in a commitment to a public interest at regional and national level. Under this presentation, it is indispensable that a high impact institution of higher education such as UNISANGIL – Chiquinquirá seat, is part of these new educational approaches, even more so when it can strengthen the legal spectrum of the country. In addition to this, since the theory often does not leave classrooms, it is important to show the student a practical work, with which he knows how the exercise of law materializes. Thus, with the present product, it is sought, on the one hand, to highlight some aspects of previous studies that dealt with the initial project of the Legal Clinic, and on the other, to exalt the direction to follow, in the light of the objectives, methodology And other factors that today shape and develop the project, in the sense of being part of the new educational trends of law, from academia, to practice, under the modality of constructivist learning and within the context of research training.
