Abstract

When addressing the concept of poverty in Latin America, it can originate an obligatory and systemic pursuit of discussions and postulates, which depend on diverse points of view approached by their authors, several methodological studies are carried out, statistical approximations and results political decision products, administrative or legal approaches that bring us closer to the phenomenon of poverty and inequality in Latin America. The lack of physical, moral and economic resources are a symptom of poverty, social inequality and the ambition of power of the upper classes result in the impoverishment of the less favored classes. Poverty is notorious in certain geographical areas, often due to the scarcity of natural resources; poverty is reflected in health, education, recreation, housing, and access to basic services. Poverty leads to malnutrition in infants. and until death. The poor today are part of the inclusive policies to be taken into account with the benefits of social programs, the
targeted policy must be supported without the influence of voting or electoral participation to obtain these rights; the support in the creation of solidarity and social economies is an alternative for community development, promoting production, financing, commercialization and the consumption.
